Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent an experienced Deputy Headteacher for an alternate provision school based in the Hinckley, Leicestershire area. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis to start from September 2022. We are currently supporting a small-scale partner alternate provision setting in the Hinckley area in recruiting an experienced Deputy Headteacher. This alternate provision has been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has great values that are set on giving the pupils the confidence towards independence, it holds 10-15 pupils between the age of 7-19 years old. This role may include an element of teaching responsibility. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification
• Substantial experience as a Deputy Headteacher/Acting Deputy Headteacher in a Secondary setting
• Ideally have knowledge of local LA procedures
• Exceptionally dedicated to working with SEMH/SEN pupils
