Due to growth, Smile Leadership are looking to hire a Senior Regional Recruitment Consultant, covering the northwest of England; breaking the mould of education recruitment, there will be NO early starts and you can work 100% remotely (anywhere with wi-fi!) We are also offering a basic salary of up to £38k plus an uncapped accelerated commission structure.

Smile Leadership Ltd (sister company to Smile Education) is a little different to your usual brand; we run from a full time, virtual office, and welcome those into our team who are trustworthy and hard-working looking for a more flexible attitude to the home/work life balance. This opportunity is to support the growth of the Smile Leadership brand in the northwest region.

As the Northwest Senior Regional Recruitment Consultant, working closely with the Director, you will have the autonomy to grow the business in the northwest of England covering key cities such as Manchester and Liverpool. This is an exciting 360 position that offers you the opportunity to utilise your flair and creative approach to setting up a new region, introducing Smile Leadership into schools, including Primary, Secondary and SEN. You will have dedicated support for all candidate related activities including resourcing and compliance from a Resourcer and a Compliance & Research Officer!

This role is 100% remote working!

  • Achieve set KPI’s and targets on a weekly basis
  • Setting up and leading the growth of the business in the northwest of England
  • Conduct client meetings, promoting Smile Leaderships services
  • Negotiate fees and contracts
  • Secure exclusive business, retainers, PSL places and large-scale agreements for the business as a whole
  • Providing long term, interim and permanent staffing solutions covering roles for school leaders such as CEO’s, HR Managers and Headteachers

With dedicated support of a Resourcer and a Compliance & Research Officer, you will also:
  • Write job adverts and publish online
  • Manage job board applications, speaking to active candidates
  • Search for passive candidates via social media, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • Conduct telephone, virtual and face to face interviews with candidates
  • Ensure the candidates are fully compliant to work
  • Work proactively and at speed to fill client’s vacancy requirements

  • Believer in our core values of Honesty, Integrity and Flexibility
  • Self-motivated with the want to grow and develop a new region for the business
  • Previous recruitment experience, including temp/interim and perm
  • A continuous, successful billing history in a similar role
  • Experience working within the education sector ideally OR a highly compliant sector i.e. social care, NHS
  • Comfortable working in a pressurised, targeted and fast paced environment
  • Investigative in nature, experience of asking open questions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Professional, sociable and friendly
  • Stable work history, be able to explain reasons for leaving previous positions

Term time, Monday to Thursday - 8.30am - 5pm (NO EARLY STARTS and a 4pm Friday finish!!)
School Holidays – 9am - 3.30pm
