Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent an experienced school Business Manager for a primary school based in Oldham, Greater Manchester (OL8) area. The role is available to start immediately and offered as a full time, interim position. The pay rate is between £120-£160 per day depending on experience. We are currently supporting a primary school in recruiting a Business Manager. This role is focused on supporting the new Business Manager in completing financial duties for the year end. Other duties may include, being responsible for finance, personnel, premises, administration. You will also work as part of the SLT and provide reports to other members of the SLT. Other duties may include planning budget spend on school, controlling costs and reducing when necessary, building relationships with suppliers and contractors to source the best value for money, arrange staff payroll, handle all school service contracts, and oversee tenders for services such as catering, cleaning, and IT support. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant qualification
• Experience within a school Business Manager role
• Substantial experience working within a school
• Ideally have knowledge of the Greater Manchester LA procedures
• Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS, SMS or ESO
