Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent experienced school Business Managers for primary schools across Manchester, Greater Manchester (M30, and M33) area. The roles are usually available to start immediately and offered on an interim, full-time basis. The pay rate is between £120-£160 per day dependant on experience. If you are an experienced School Business Manager who has recently completed a similar role within an education setting and are either local to or available to travel to the Manchester, Greater Manchester (M30 and M33) and surrounding areas, we would like to hear from you. We are currently supporting schools in recruiting experienced Business Managers. Typically, the main duties of the role are, but are not limited to, planning budget spend on school, controlling costs and reducing when necessary, building relationships with suppliers and contractors to source the best value for money, staff payroll, handle all school service contracts, and oversee tenders for services such as catering, cleaning and IT support. We are open to receiving applications by 24.03.23 from school Business Managers with school setting experience or Business Managers with knowledge of school systems. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant qualification
• Experience within a school Business Manager role
• Substantial experience working within a school
• Ideally have knowledge of the Greater Manchester LA procedures
• Knowledge of school systems will be advantageous
