Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent Finance Assistants for primary and secondary schools in the Wigan, Greater Manchester (M29, M46 and WN5) area. The roles are usually available to start immediately or from Easter 2023 and offered as an interim, full-time position for a minimum of one term. The pay rate is between £90-£130 per day dependant on experience. If you are an experienced school finance assistant or a finance assistant who has recently completed a similar role within an education setting and are either local to or available to travel to the Wigan, Greater Manchester (M29, M46 and WN5) and surrounding areas, we would like to hear from you. We are currently supporting schools in recruiting Finance Assistants. Typically, the main duties of the role are but are not limited to, assisting in maintaining and updating information held on School Databases, those relating to finance including recording expenditure and income, payroll information, accessing and producing reports for budget holders. We are open to receiving applications by 28.03.23 from Finance assistants with school setting experience or Finance Assistants with knowledge of school systems. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Finance qualification
• Experience within a Finance role
• Substantial experience working within a school will be advantageous
• Ideally have knowledge of Greater Manchester LA procedures
• Knowledge of school finance systems
