Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent an experienced Attendance Administrator for a secondary school in Manchester, Greater Manchester (M25). This role is available to start immediately and is a full time, term time only role. If you have experience as an Attendance Administrator or a similar role or school setting and are either local to or available to travel to the Manchester, Greater Manchester (M25), we would like to hear from you. We are currently working alongside a Secondary school to support them with their Attendance Administrator requirements. This role is initially offered on a temporary, full-time basis, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). Daily rates are negotiable dependant on experience and typically start from £13 per hour and upwards. The core purpose of this role is to have responsibilities revolving around children's attendance and dealing with any issues that might arise, you could: Liaise with pupils and parents to identify and deal with potential attendance issues. You will also advise the school on strategies to promote the regular and punctual attendance of all pupils and assist with the implementation of agreed strategies. Updating of the school records, analyse attendance data and provide reports to senior managers and other professionals. You will complete your duties whilst operating within the safeguarding framework.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Experience as a school attendance administrator or a similar role
• Experience with SIMS will be advantageous
• Ideally have knowledge of Greater Manchester LA procedures
• Warm and caring personality, friendly and able to relate well to children and adults
• Organised with a positive outlook and a “can do” approach
• Be able to manage workload independently and in a team
